Eyelid Lift Before & After Case 580

This is a 52 year-old woman who was interested in complete facial rejuvenation, following a lifetime of sun damage and general facial aging.  I advised her that she was an excellent candidate for a facelift to address the lower 2/3 (cheek and jowl areas) of her face, and to address her tired-looking eye areas, an upper blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) would be ideal (although she was also a good candidate for a brow lift).

During this upper blepharoplasty, a fair amount of skin and lesser degree of underlying fatty tissue was excised.  As can be seen in this post-op pictures from approximately 3 months, this significantly "opened" her eyes and lessened the need for her to constantly be raising her brow, giving her a much more refreshed look overall.
