Breast Reduction Before & After Case 517

This is a 30 year-old female who had breast-fed one child, and remained a 38G bra size thereafter (5'7", 180').  Her symptoms included back, neck and shoulder pain (for which she had seen a chiropractor), as well as general arthritis.  I recommended a breast reduction via the inferior pedicle technique to manage her excess skin (which she also had on her upper arms, for which I recommended an arm lift, or brachioplasty).  She indeed underwent both procedures at the same surgery, with removal of approximately 670 grams of breast tissue on the right and 645 on the left.  This left her in approximately a D-cup, which was proportionate for her.  The patient did very well and was pleased with her results (photographs are from approximately 3 months post-op).
