Breast Reduction Before & After Case 510

This 54 year-old female with a 36DDD bra size, who was referred chronic symptoms of back and neck pain, as well as an inability to exercise adequately, especially following a recent knee injury. I agreed with her primary care physician that she would greatly benefit from a breast reduction. She also had a moderate amount of lower abdominal tissue redundancy, as well as a depressed appendectomy scar, so I recommended that she consider an abdominoplasty be performed at the same time. She indeed underwent a standard breast reduction via the inferior pedicle technique (with an anchor-shaped Wise-pattern scar), as well as a standard abdominoplasty. She recovered extremely nicely - effectively undergoing a "Mommy Makeover" - with almost overnight relief of her back pain symptoms, and excellent recontouring of her abdomen.
