Breast Implant Revision Before & After Case 876

This is a 57 year old, 5'7" 140 pound woman who had implants placed more than 20 years prior. She presented with capsular contracture (hardening of the scar tissue around the implants) of both breasts. Not only was this very uncomfortable for her, but it also distorted her breasts causing them to be high on her chest and feel very firm. She was happy with her size (which she thought was around 285 ccs). She chose a moderate profile, smooth, round silicone gel implant. I had several sizes available to me and, once I had explanted her old implants and knew what size they were, I placed 339 cc implants to give her very similar volume. Prior to placing her new implants, I also removed the scar tissue capsules in her breasts.

After photos are from  8 months post-op. You can see that she has a much more natural, relaxed breast shape.
