Breast Augmentation Before & After Case 527

This fairly fit 46 year-old Denver woman had been looking for plastic surgeons and came to us interested in breast augmentation, having breast fed three children, the youngest of whom was 16. She had also lost a fair amount of weight (down to 145', 5'3" tall) along with her breast size, which had been a 36DD during pregnancy. The patient did have mild ptosis, but did not wish to undergo a formal lift.

For this reason, and the fact that she still had at least a C-cup sized breast (and therefore good natural soft tissue coverage), I advised that she undergo placement of gel implants in the subglandular position, which would naturally sit a bit lower, and would be appropriately positioned behind the nipple. This breast augmentation was performed as an outpatient (with a slightly larger implant placed on the left side) in combination with abdominal liposuction, and the patient was thrilled with the results (here pictured at approximately 3 months post-op).
