This 46-year-old had been searching for a plastic surgeon in Denver, CO, to discuss breast augmentation (for which she was a good candidate), and also wished to have her abdominal area addressed. She had delivered 3 children (but had had no C-sections or abdominal surgery), and was fairly fit, weighing 145 pounds and wearing a size 8 pant.Because she had such good abdominal tone and relatively tight skin, I advised her that she was a better-than-average candidate for liposuction alone to the anterior abdominal and hip areas. Ultimately, approximately 1200cc of fatty tissue was removed. She also indeed underwent submuscular gel breast augmentation at that time, ultimately being the beneficiary of a version of a "Mommy Makeover" popular here in Denver (photos are from exactly one year post-op, with the patient showing excellent recontouring and overall skin retraction).
