This 32 year old woman was frustrated that, despite regular diet and exercise, especially since having given birth to her 3 children, she was unable to achieve improvement in her thigh areas, which was always a “problem spot” for her.  Her weight was down to 135, but her (resistant) thighs looked and felt disproportionately large for her, so she came in asking about her options for liposuction.  She knew that there were a multitude of plastic surgeons in Golden , Colorado Springs and Denver who performed liposuction and body contouring, but she elected to have her surgery performed locally, knowing that I was able to provide the modern option of ultrasound-assisted liposuction at a surgical center.

She had this performed as an outpatient under light general anesthesia, at which time approximately 550 cc of fatty aspirate was removed from the right lateral thigh and 600cc from the left.  She also had 175cc removed from the inner thighs bilaterally. Foam padding was applied to the areas treated (to minimize bruising and swelling), after which a specialized girdle was placed (to be worn for 2-4 weeks).  Post-op photos are shown from approximately 7 months post-surgery.
