Body Lift Before & After Case 11523

This is a 44 year old, 5'3," 135 pound woman who had lost some weight. She did not like the way this made her abdomen look. She also wanted a butt and outer thigh lift. She was a great candidate for a lower body lift (or belt lipectomy). This procedure involves a tummy tuck where skin from the belly button to the pubis is removed and the underlying abdominal muscles are tightened. The hip bone to hip bone incision is then carried all the way around the body and more skin is removed on the back side which lifts the butt and outer thighs. You can see her extremely thin scar, which is still red at just 3 months post op. Over the next year it will fade to a white line.
